Chapter 96
Lyra made her way to where Bruce stood still staring at the stone. She said while looking at the stone
"My condolences"
Lyra smiled before saying "I had always known that Ella has eyes for big things. She would always want to be at the receiving end and she loves her life a lot. For her to commit suicide, you will agree with me that she was really pained by the death of Clinton and her unborn child. She must have thought that she had completely lost her way the moment she lost the two most precious things in her life"
Bruce bobbed his head "She fell in love"
When she got up, Bruce turned to leave and she did also.
"Do you have time?" She asked but Bruce shook his head.
"It's alright. I knew you'll need time for yourself that's why I had to take him in forthe main time. Well, since you're busy, I'll let you do what it is you wish to do but there's something important I'll like to discuss with you. Come around when you are free" she said.
Lyra didn't set her eyes on Bruce for another week, Ella's death had weakened him more than she thought.
Bruce, who wanted to spend some time with his son, came around. He had missed his son so much, he felt he was wronging him for leaving him for too long.
"Mommy!" They raced to herand hugged her legs. She smiled as she kissed them all as well.
She spoke to the kids for a while before greeting every other person in the living room who responded with a smile
"Do you have time now?" She asked theman with a pawn in his hand. The adult had been playing chess before she walked in.
Bruce dropped the piece of chess before standing up. Dressed in well-ironed long sleeves and trousers, he made his way to her. She has been asking tomeet with him since Ella's death that had been a month ago and he wondered why
"I am available now. Where would you like to discuss?" He asked.
Lyra gestured for him to follow her as they made their way tothe back garden. She suddenly felt self-conscious walking in front of him and she could tell that his gaze was on her the whole time
"I am sorry, I never knew either"
"Bryan hypnotized me into believing that he was the father and faked the DNA results of before"her head was down with her hands covering her face.
