Eva barely had time to register that they had burst through the blanket of trees into a clearing when she was dumped on a cushion thick long grasp, a yelp leaving her as she sank into the natural bedding. Daniel was gone leaving Eva alone under a clear night sky, stars and the moon shimmering like diamonds while a cool gentle breeze skimmed her half naked body.
Her body ached from fighting, most of her wounds were now healed but an ugly dark bruise covered the entirety of her injured hip. Sitting up slowly, Eva looked around, her hazel eyes wide with wonder as she took in the thicket in which Daniel had deposited her. There was a calm silence around her that was a juxtaposition to her racing heart and the thundering of her pulse in her ears.
A soft growl from behind caused the she-wolf to jump, whipping around to find Daniel watching her, his eyes ablaze with hunger and lust.
Daniel didn't answer save for a growl of appreciation as his eyes roamed Eva's naked legs up to his womanhood barely covered by the t-shirt Duncan had given her. He took a bold step forward, nostrils flaring as he breathed in the female's scent which was being amplified by her forced heat.
"Daniel?" Eva squeaked unsure if she should stay put or try and make a run for it.

Their lips never left each other's as Eva's fingers undid the buttons of Daniel's shirt quickly, pushing the material off chest and shoulders. She ran her nails over the smooth hard plains of his chest, purposely catching his nipples to illicent an aroused groan from Daniel. They moved together to get his belt off before Daniel gently shoved Eva back onto the grass, a smirk gracing his lips as he stood to remove his jeans and the remainder of his clothing.
If Eva didn't know Daniel was aroused she sure as hell did now as he stood her, his manhood rock hard and precum already glistening in the moonlight. Eva didn't have much time to admire the adonis like physique of her mate before he was on her in a flash, caging her in under him and catching her in a hungry kiss. "Daniel?" Eva murmured, rubbing her palm over the back of his neck soothingly.
For a few moments the male didn't move. Panic began to leak into Eva's veins and she thought they had been too late or Ethan lied.
"Daniel, seriously! Answer me!"She snapped, hands going to his broad shoulders and shaking.
"Thank goddess." Eva breathed, pulling Daniel into an embrace, breathing in his scent. "I don't know what I would have done if I lost you."
"Dead." Eva muttered, pulling back to look into her mate's eyes. "It's a long story but he's gone and I thought we were going to be matingin a horrible old warehouse but for some reason you brought us here."
"Yeah, it's weird...I feel like Kade somehow sent me a message." Daniel murmured. "I remember feeling like I was possessed and all I could think about was marking you but somehow I heard his voice saying wherever we were was not the place for it. Then I remembered this place and I don't know how but I managed to get enough self control to make it here…"
Eva couldn't help but smile. Daniel was going to lose his mind when he realised Kade was in fact alive but she decided it was better for him to find that out by seeing the beta with his own eyes. The realisation that this was finally over crashed overEva and her vision blurred as tears welled in her eyes before falling down her cheeks.They had survived and the pack was safe.
"Hey, why are you crying?" Daniel frowned in concern, his hands coming up so his thumbs could brush away the tears from Eva's cold cheeks.
"We should." Daniel nodded before a mischievous smile crept onto his lips. "And I think I know just how to start."
"Like this." Daniel replied as he moved so he was lying down before pulling Eva's hipstowards his mouth so she straddled his face.
