Bella's POV
It's been a week in the hospital and I am getting home sick. I really want to go back home but the doctor states I am still weak. Urgh
Xavier has been taking real good care of me. He's been here every single day. Not so long ago our roles were switched. Thinking about it makes me laugh.
"Hey love." Xavier states as he kisses my forehead. He sets down coffee and tea as he take a sit beside me. "What you thinking about?" he asked me as he looks at me.
"Nothing. I am just home sick." I said as I sighed. "Don't worry. I have talked to doctor and she said you can go back soon." he said while grabbing my fingers.
"Thank you so much for everything." I said as I squeezed his hands. He smiled softly. Just then the doctor came in.
"Good morning. I have checked everything and she is all good. She can be discharged." she said after looking through the clipboard.
"Yayyy!" I said excitedly and jump up and down in the bed. Xavier and the doctor chuckled at my behaviour. I smiled sheepishly at them.
Xavier went to fill out the paper work while I got dressed and packed. Thankfully Dean brought me some clothes for me. When I was packing, I saw the white dress there. The moment I saw them, everything came flooding back.
"Hey you-" Xavier started before pausing, while looking at me. "Hey, what happened?" he asked me as he come closer.
When he saw what I was looking at, he instantly tensed. He quickly took it and went to dust bin. He tossed it inside it and took out a lighter as he burn it.
I watched it being burn. I couldn't think or say anything. All I did was watch it burn. Xavier came to me as he took me in his embrace. I hugged him back slowly.
At that moment I promised myself to burn all those bad memories along with the dress. He is gone. I will not let him control me anymore.
I am going to live my life with Xavier. Liam is never going to be remembered by me. With this final thought I let go of my past.
Xavier and I are in his car as we drive back. We sat in comforting silence. Suddenly, instead of taking right, he took a left turn. I started to get confused.
"Xavier, why did you take the left turn. My house is in the right." I asked him confused. I turn to see him just smiling at me.
"Wait. I will tell you in awhile." he said. "Tell menow." I said as looked at him confused. He just shook his head. I huffed as I sat down in the car crossing my leg.
He just laughed at me as if this is so amusing. "Come on, Its a surprise." he said trying to make me talkto him. I just shook my head and stuck my tongue at him.
Soon we reached outside his penthouse. I got confused. I turn to him. "What are we doing here?" I asked him confused. He sighed before turning to me.
"Look. I know I should have asked you before bringing you here. But I want you to stay with me." he asked making me shocked.
I don't know what to say. "You want meto stay with you?" I asked him questioningly. He just nodded his head. "For how long?"
He just shrug his shoulder. I sighed. "I-I don't kn-" I hesitated. What amI to say? "Look, I understand. Its just that I want to be at your side all thetime. The last time I let you alone, you were-" he paused taking a deep breathe.
I understand where he is coming from. Butstill its a big move. "I need to know you aresafe." he pleaded. I sighed and nodded my head.
"Oh my god. Thank you so much." He said hugging me. I just chuckled at his behaviour. "I need to take my staffs though." I said pulling away.
He starts to scratch his neck. "Well you see," he paused. I arched my eyebrow at him. "Your brother already brought them here." he said smiling sheepishly.
My eyes widened in shock. "What? When?" I asked him. "Well I asked your brother whether it was ok for you moving in and he was ok. So he had packed them and brought over while I was with you." he explained.
"And what if I had said no?" I asked him questioningly. "Well I would have persuaded you some way." hesaid shrugging his shoulder and getting out of the car.
I chuckled at him. This man is impossible. We got the stuff and went up to his penthouse. I never got tosee is house properly. It was modern and looked classy.
"Come I'll show you to your room." he said as he bring me up the stairs. I just nodded my head. He brought me up the stairs.
"This is your room. Mine is just next to yours. If you need anything just call me." he said as we entered room.
"Unless you want to sleep with me in the room." he said giving me a smirk. I shook my head as he starts to laugh. He came and hugged me and kissed my cheeks.
"Why don't you take a shower. I'll preparedinner." he said as I nodded my head. I tried get away from his embrace but he wouldn't let go.
"If I were to go and shower you have to let me go." I said as I laughed. "Few more minutes." he said as he hugged me tighter.
We stood there for few more minutes before my stomach starts to grumble. I started to blush due to embarrassment. He chuckled as he pull away.
"Go take a shower. I'll prepare dinner." he said as he gave me a peck in the lips and went out. I took out some pyjamas and went to take a shower.
While I was in the shower, I was thinking about how Xavier has treated me so well. He's been nothing but caring and sweet with me.
I could not have asked for someone better than me. Liam, he has treated me like nothing but trash. Icould have not asked for a better person than Xavier.
I quickly finished my shower as I got out and changed to a grey sweats and hoodie. It was starting to get chilly. My stomach was growling. I went down to see Dean and Xavier talking while Xavier was preparing dinner.
"Hey big bear." I said as I hugged him. "Hey tiger. How do you feel now?" he asked ruffling my hair. "Better." I said as I took a seat. "What you doing here?" I asked as he never tell me he was coming.
"Xavier had asked me to come. He said he has something important to tell." Dean said as we looked at Xavier. He sighed before talking.
"How about we eat before I tell you."
